Inquiry Hut
My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you, turning your
ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding,
and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for
understanding, and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you
will understand the fear of the LORD and find the
knowledge of God. (Proverbs 2:1-9)
Experienced voyagers have
long known of the tucked-away haven of Inquiry Island.

left corner for a brief history!)
A rugged land, renowned for its granite peaks, it
has for centuries been the destination of those
seeking answers to difficult questions about the
Kingdom. For high upon the grey cliffs dwells a
community of aged scribes who have made it their
lifetime purpose to search deeply into the vast
truths of the Book
of the Kingdom, giving understanding to all
who desire it.
Many voyagers come from very
distant places to learn this wisdom, often braving
vast waves in the Seas of Discouragement and fighting
terrible gales in the Winds of Despair. So it is
that not all who venture here make their destination;
indeed, many turn back. But those who endeavor to
prevail find their efforts more than rewarded. They
treasure the understanding they receive more than
precious jewels!
And
I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you;
seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be
opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth;
and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh
it shall be opened. (Luke 11:9-10)
At the foot of the first peak,
about half a day's journey up from the harbor, sits
a very quaint and rustic outpost, known as the "Inquiry
Hut." It has but one tiny window over the center
of a rather oversized door, upon which voyagers
must knock loudly and persistently before it will
open to them. Once inside, the voyager is met by
a humbly-clad scribe who listens intently to each
inquiry. These are then penned onto a fresh scroll
and sent up the mountain to the most qualified scribe.
After some time, the answer is written upon the
same scroll and carried back down the mountain to
the one joyously awaiting it.
At the top of each page you
will find a log of answered inquiries. Select your
inquiry and enjoy your treasure!
